Dr Dipanjali Konwar is working as Associate Professor (LPM), in Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, R.S.Pura, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu. She did her Masters and Doctorate degrees from Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat. She has an experience of fifteen years in teaching, research and extension. Presently she is working on managemental practices for enhancing productivity in livestock. She has been more than fifty  publications to her credit, which includes research papers, technical bulletins, extension folders, & practical manuals.
Dr Shilpa Sood is working as Associate Professor (Veterinary Pathology), in Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, R.S. Pura, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu. She did her Master’s from Hisar Agriculture University and Doctorate degree from Tennessee, USA. She has an experience of fifteen years in teaching, research and extension. Presently she is working on disease diagnostics of Livestock and Poultry. She has been more than fifty publications to her credit, which includes research papers, technical bulletins, extension folders, & practical manuals.
Dr Shahid Ahamad presently working as Chief Scientist/Associate Director Research at Directorate of Research in Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences  & Technology of  Jammu (Chatha) J.&K. Earlier he served as Jr. Scientist (Plant Pathology),  Sr. Scientist/Programme Coordinator in KVKs and Dy. Director Research. He is also working as Nodal Officer, PME Cell. His research interests are plant diseases management, maize pathology, organic crop production and research management. He has been published more than two hundred publications in national and international reputed journals/magazines/News papers etc. including ten books in different aspects of agriculture/ plant pathology. He is having twenty years of experience in research, extension and teaching activities in the field of plant pathology in general and agriculture in particular.
About The Book
The content of this book has been planned keeping in consideration the importance of livestock sector in agriculture economy in Jammu and Kashmir state.
