Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, boasts an illustrious career spanning more than three decades in the realms of teaching, research and extension. His administrative service has been demonstrated through his capacities as Acting Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Director and Dean over an impressive eight-year tenure. He has contributed significantly to academic works, having authored over 150 scientific and semi-scientific papers, 70 conference abstracts, 5 textbooks and an additional 80 publications. Dr. K. Ravaneswaran is a distinguished academic and an expert in Fisheries Extension, currently serving as the Controller of Examinations i/c., at Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Muttukadu, Chennai. Dr. Ravaneswaran has dedicated 34 years to the field of aquaculture extension, where he has made significant contributions to both research and practical training. Dr. A. Uma, Director of Directorate of Incubation and Vocational training in Aquaculture at Tamil Nadu Dr. J Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, is an expert in Aquaculture and Aquatic Animal Health with 25 years of experience. She holds a Master's and PhD in Aquaculture from the Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi. She has published 80 research papers, authored three books, supervised 50 students, and led 15 major projects. Mr. A. Monishkumar is currently working as an Assistant professor who has completed post-graduation in the Department of Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology at Institute of Fisheries Post Graduate Studies of Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU), India. His current researches focus on fish and shrimp nutrition, nutritional programming, and nutrigenomics.
