About The Book
The soil and water analysis book will provide comprehensive techniques, updated methods, and standards for sample collection, handling, and analysis at the site and in the laboratory for practical and research purposes. It provides information on how to collect sediment and water samples for analysis of different quality parameters that can be measured in the field and transportation of samples to the laboratories for further analysis. To be meaningful and valid, soil and water tests have to be appropriate for the purpose intended and reliable and repeatable. It is considered an important tool to assess nutrient needs and formulate specific nutrient recommendations. This book would serve as useful reference material for students, fisheries officers, progressive farmers, entrepreneurs, and laboratory technicians who are interested in soil and water quality analysis in aquaculture and fisheries.
