Dr. Ashwani Kumar Dubey is a leading scientist, in the beginning of 21st century in India. He is currently working as Executive Director, Environment & Social Welfare Society, Khajuraho, India. He has completed his Ph.D. in Zoology in 1995 from Vikram University, Ujjain, MP. He has devoted his life in Academic and Scientific research. He has published many books of Zoology, research papers in International and National peer reviewed journals and academic and scientific articles in standard magazines. Scientific talk broadcasted by All India Radio. His expertise has been requisitioned by several National & International organizations. He is widely regarded as one of India’s foremost expert with a scientific temper on Zoology & Environmental Sciences. He awarded many prestigious awards by National and International institutions. He is a regular member and distinguished fellow of the learned scientific societies including Indian Science Congress, Kolkota. He is editor/reviewer in research journals published from India, America, United Kingdom, Egypt, France, Syria, Nepal, Iraq, Sudan, Romania, Malaysia and Japan. Dr. Shiv Ji Malviya Currently working as Deputy Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Commission. He is a great naturalist. Previously he was posted in Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Degree College, Naini, Prayagraj. He has published many research papers in journals of repute. He has many awards in his name. He had performed various duties in Government sectors. He is a nature lover, conservationist and nation builder. Er. Priyansha Kushwaha FSAJMS, FIJIRG, FESW currently working as a Lecturer in Government Polytechnic Faizabad, (Ayodhaya) Uttar Pradesh in the Civil Engineering Department. She has done her Bachelor's in Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU), Lucknow, and Masters in Technology (M. Tech) in Environmental Engineering. She is an environmentalist, worked in ESW Society West Bengal Chapter also life member in various other societies, working with South Asia Management Association Sunnyvale California, USA, have many awards like a prestigious Young Engineer award in 2020 by Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi; and being an active environmentalist she is Nature lover.

About The Book

The present book is divided into two parts. The first part of the book covers environmental studies, covering the multidisciplinary subject, natural resources, ecosystems, biodiversity and its conservation, environmental pollution, social issues and the environment and human population and the environment. In the second part disaster management have been covered with emphasis on - introduction to disasters, man-made disasters, disaster management and COVID-19 and its impact on environment. This book will be highly useful for the students undergoing the course of environmental studies and disaster management. This book is intended to give easy readability, and it covers almost all the basic aspects of Environmental Science and Disaster Management.
