Author Profile

"Dr. Nawaz Ahmad Khan did his B.Sc. (Ag) and M.Sc. (Ag) Biochemistry from NDUA&T, Kumarganj Faizabad in year 1988 and 1991 respectively. He got Vice Chancellor Gold Medal at M.Sc. (Biochemistry). He was awarded his Ph.D. (Biochemistry) from Gujarat Agricultural University, Junagarh in year 2000. Dr. Khan has to his credit more than 24 scientific publications and review articles which have appeared in international recognized journals. He guided M.Sc. (Ag.) Biotechnology and Ph.D. students. His research areas include Biotic Stress in Plants and Molecular Biology. He is recipient of ‘Young Scientist Award’ 2013 by Alumni Association of NDUA&T Kumarganj. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, NDUA&T, Kumarganj, Faizabad. <BR> Dr. K.N. Singh did M. Phil. from JNU, New Delhi and obtained Ph.D. degree from Cambridge University, U.K. in 1990. He started his carrier as Research Associate at TERI, New Delhi and then joined Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore as Assistant Professor. In early 2005 he joined NDUAT as Professor in Biotechnology department. At present he is working as Head of the Departments of Biotechnology and Biochemistry. He also served as Visiting Scientist at IRRI, Philippines funded by Rockefeller Foundation. He has guided M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. Dr. Singh has published 33 research papers and review articles in journals of repute. Dr. Singh has successfully complete a number research projects funded of Govt. of India. Dr. Singh has participated delivered lectures at various National and International conferences/symposium."
