Since microalgae are now used as candidates for biofuel/biodiesel production, biocolourants, nutraceuticals, novel food and feed and also as research materials for genomic and metabolomics of phototrophic organisms. <BR> The information provided in this book would help the researchers and students in universities and research institutions to understand the diversity of alagae of India and their use for bioprospecting.
