Author Profile

Dr. B.S. Rathor is currently working as the Head of the Department of Geography, Government Post Graduate College, Morena, M.P. He Graduate in the year 1978 and he had his Post-graduation in 1980 from P.G. College, Ambah, Morena (Jiwaji University, Gwalior). He was awarded with Ph.D. degree in Geography from the Agra University, Agra in 1986. His main area of interest in Physical Geography, Geomorphology of Chambal Ravines and Resources Management. He has jointly published three books. <BR> Dr. Vijay Singh Rathor is working as Assistant Professor of Geography after selected by the M.P. Public Service Commission and ranked top in the merit list. He joined the Government Postgraduate College, Morena.

About The Book

The book “Management of Natural Resources for Sustainable Development” is an outcome of a National Seminar, held in 15-16 October, 2011 at the Govt. P.G. College, Morena. There are total 26 papers contributed by Geographers, Scientists and Researchers, on various topics related to natural resources, their management, and sustainable development. It also covers the vast geographical area, India as a whole. The papers deal with various burning topics such as resources utilizations pattern, over and under utilizations of resources, environmental degradation, and comprehensive solutions of all these impediments.
